A city worker, on request of anonymity, said the drug was easy to find in Melbourne.

"The culture has changed. There is more of it on offer," News.com.au quoted the 25-year-old, who took cocaine regularly, as saying.

According to 19-year-old Aron, cocaine was now considered a party drug.

"It's not that I'm dependent on it, it's just a way to have an even better night out," he said.

"It's never caused me or any of my friends any harm," he added.
