Christina Aguilera's newborn Max was initiated into the Jewish faith with his circumcision in a ritual Hebrew ceremony called bris at her Beverly Hills home. The event is the traditional Jewish baby naming and circumcision ceremony performed on the eighth day after the child is born.
Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman invited a small group of friends and family to their son's bris ceremony.
Max's bris also formalised his middle name, as 'Liron' that means 'my song' or 'my joy' in Hebrew.
According to a source, the pop singer, who was said to be feeling 'sore' after the caesarean birth has already started bonding with her son through her singing.
"Her voice is fine. She is already singing to Max," The Sun quoted a source as saying.
