Chinese Triathlon Champion Wang Hongni Banned for Doping
Chinese triathlete Wang Hongni has been banned for two years for doping, the Chinese Triathlon Association (CTA) confirmed Thursday.

Wang, the 2006 Asian Games women's triathlon champion, had tested positive to the steroid testosterone in an out-of-competition check Aug 24.

CTA tested Wang's 'B' urine sample Sept 27, confirming the result of her 'A' sample.

Wang, 25, will be banned up to Oct 5, 2009, and thus be ineligible for the Beijing Olympic Games.
