The 28-year-old singer, who was struck down with malaria last year, is now suffering from pharyngitis, the Daily Star reported.

It would have been her first performance for months in the UK and her first since she was dumped as a judge from the US version of The X Factor.

The Children In Need Rocks concert, organised by Gary, 40, will see a host of big name acts take to the stage, including Lady GaGa, Coldplay, N-Dubz and JLS.
