The Royal College of GPs and Royal College of Nursing have created a charter for patients who are terminally ill.

The seven-point charter has an important objective to help realizing the decisions of the terminally ill and make sure their last wishes are fulfilled.

The charter will also include certain critical issues, for instance whether patients wish to be resuscitated or not.  Basically, the charter intends to make a world of difference to quality of care meted out to the terminally ill patients.
