A cervical cancer injection has turned normal life topsy turvy for 13-year-old Lucy Hinks.
Lucy has been sleeping for 23 hours a day for seven weeks after she took the human papilloma vaccine at her school.
Lucy is unable to move or speak ever since she received the cervarix vaccine which seems to have affected her internal organs.
Lucy's parents are cautioning other parents about this vaccine which is offered in schools across the nation to 12 and 13 year olds.
Lucy's mother said: 'I would not wish what we've been through on anyone. I've not seen the whites of Lucy's eyes for weeks and nobody can tell us when it will turn. I could put up with the constant sleep, I believe her body needs it, but it's the fact that she's in a waking coma, with no treatment.'
