Experts advise men to get the PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood test and a rectal exam done when they enter their 40s. Regular check-ups is the key to spot the disease early. 

Since most cases of prostate cancer do not portray any symptoms, the only way of detecting it is by way of the PSA blood test and a rectal examination. 

Early detection improves the chances of complete recovery from prostate cancer.
