A recent survey conducted by researchers from France has shown a link between smoking cannabis and body weight.

Those who smoke cannabis frequently may experience a reduced risk of obesity.

The survey also found that nearly 22 to 25 per cent of people who did not smoke marijuana were obese as against 16 to 17 percent of cannabis users.

It is also possible that those who use cannabis may indulge in other types of behaviors which reduce their risk of weight gain.

Using cannabis can result in serious physical and mental health problems and it is not worth using this drug for any reason.
