Troubled pop singer Britney Spears found some comfort by reuniting with her mother Lynne.
"Britney really needed her mom. So Lynne flew out and they met," people.com quoted an inside source as saying.
Spears needs all the support she can get after she lost custody of her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, aged two and one respectively. She has been granted strict, supervised visitation rights.
One measure with regard to her supervised visiting rights reads: "The monitor shall terminate visitation immediately if any conduct or action by (Spears) endangers the minor children."
Spears and her mother had a fall out in June when the singer had written an upsetting letter. She asked her mom to stay away from her sons if she was taking any medication.
