Botched Butt-Enhancement Procedure Sees 6 Women in Hospital
New Jersey health officials are warning about a black-market practitioner who is injecting caulk and other hazardous materials as part of butt-enhancement procedures.


New Jersey Health Department epidemiologist Dr. Tina Tan revealed that six women were in hospital after suffering a reaction to these injections. "What we've been hearing from the hospitals is that these women are presented with deep tissue infections and skin infections. Abscesses form in some cases," said Tan.

Hospital sources said the injections contained silicone, petroleum jelly and hardware-grade caulk. All six women, who are from the Dominican Republic, were treated at hotels in Newark.
