 Back-Breaking Fashion
Continental fashion dictates that the metrosexual man carry bags slung across their torsos, a style that would cause serious damage, warns the British Chiropractic Association (BCA).
A fashion trend made popular by David Beckham and Brad Pitt, it increased Christmas sales by 27 per cent as reported by Burberry, the last word in leather accessories.

But, Tim Hutchful of the BCA warns that new research has reported of serious back injuries as a result of carrying these bags in this fashion. Making it worse is the amount of things men carry in them. Often, smart phones, tablets and laptops would mean that men are carrying a bag weighing 13.7 pounds, equal to over 12 bags of sugar.

Some practical suggestions made by the Association are to keep the strap as short as possible and to keep switching shoulders that take the load of the bag.
