 Baby Given Massive Drugs Overdose
Scunthorpe General is under investigation after a baby was given a massive overdose of drugs. The baby, who remains anonymous for legal reasons, was given 0.5mg of tuberculosis vaccine BCG instead of the recommended 0.05mg level.

Lawyer David Body said, "This is a difficult time for the family. Their baby is receiving treatment for TB. This case raises questions about basic systems for drugs."

The baby is currently receiving treatment at the Sheffield Children's Hospital. The poisons agency is assisting in the treatment.
