We literally spend our lives "ooo-ing" and "oouch-ing".... A new UK poll says an average person spends nearly 20 years of his or her life in pain.
According to the poll of 3,000 by Litozin Joint Health, aches, injuries and illnesses equal to 17 weeks a year of pain.
It adds up to 19 years, seven months, one week and five days between the ages of 18 and 78, reports The Daily Express.
What's more, a fortnight of each year - two years and six months during a lifetime - is spent with a headache.
Even flu has people feeling tender for more than half a year in all while a year and seven months is blighted by stomachache.
A spokesman for Litozin Joint Health said: "Everyone suffers pain at some point but when you add it all up, it really is a staggering amount."
