Aurobindo Pharma Likely to Market Perindopril Erbumine Tablets Shortly

Perindopril Erbumine tablets , the generic versions of Solvay Pharmaceuticals' 'Aceon' tablets prescribed to patients with high blood pressure may soon be available in the market following the tentative approval given by US FDA to Indian pharmaceutical company Aurobindo Pharma to market this drug. 


Perindopril Erbumine tabs with strengths of 2 mg, 4 mg and 8 mg may be launched by the Indian company soon.
The company also received the final approval from USFDA in November 09 for two abbreviated new drug applications Cefotaxime for injection USP 500 milligram (mg), 1 gram (g), 2g and Cefotaxime for injection USP 10g pharmacy bulk pack. Cefotaxime is the generic version of Sanofi Aventis US' claforan and is ready to hit the market. 

Aurobindo Pharma had also received approval from US FDA in September 2009 for marketing the drug Atomoxetine Hydrochloride capsules in different strengths.
