Triskaidekaphobia , characterised by an intense fear for the number 13 is a psychological disease with very different symptoms. The fear increases if the date is Friday the 13th.

This is a mental disease thought to arise from baseless superstition which can cause extreme anxiety to the victim.

According to Dr Bird Hayslip from the department of psychology in the University of North Texas in Denton, people who are anxious and socially-dependent rely on superstitions which could trigger this sort of a mental condition. Treatment is extremely important to find relief.

.Dr Rex Northen in Phobia clinic in New York City has advised victims to relax and take away negative thoughts or fear from their mind for the number 13. He has assured victims that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the number 13 or Friday the 13th.
