Amazing Story of Woman Who Ate Cutlery Set
Doctors have revealed how a woman shunned food and ate up the entire cutlery in Holland. Margaret Daalman underwent emergency surgery after she swallowed 78 pieces of silverware at one go.

The items included forks and spoons, but she thankfully did not swallow knives. "She seems to have been suffering from some sort of obsession and every time she sat down for a meal she would ignore the food and eat the cutlery," one doctor said.

The 52-year-old woman works as a secretary at local real estate agents in Rotterdam. "I don't know why but I felt an urge to eat the silverware – I could not help myself," she told the medics.

Doctors said she is not getting therapy. They also felt she was suffering from a personality disorder, but was now responding to treatment.
