Adele Confirms Throat Surgery for Vocal Cord Hemorrhage

British pop star Adele has revealed that she has undergone throat surgery in United States to correct a vocal cord hemorrhage that was forcing her to pull out of tours and promotional appearances in recent months.

The 23-year old said that she underwent surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital and though she has cancelled all her appearances until the end of this year, her doctors revealed that she will be making full recovery.

The laser microsurgery on her vocal cords was conducted by Dr Steven Zeitels who already has successfully operated on Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Roger Daltrey.
