 7-Year-itch Replaced
Passion and romance between couples takes a dive after 3 years on an average, a poll of 2000 British adults revealed, tempting one to call it the 3-year itch rather than the earlier 7-year one.
Researchers discovered that after 3 years of the relationship, couples feel the lack of passion and a decrease in sexual appetite. They seem to argue much more over petty issues, the poll found. Modern day pressures are being blamed for these attitudinal changes in partners.

Practical day-to-day issues took precedence over romance, and many felt they needed to specifically allot time for romance. Some preferred to go on solo holidays to bring back the ‘magic’ into the relationship.

Money issues, late-working hours, drinking, weight gain, snoring, inadequate hygiene, and even the lack of surprises and gifts were cited as reasons for dying romance between couples.
