Even as the British government continues to cut jobs in order to reduce spending, the NHS has unveiled a bizarre promotion campaign through which patients are being kept at 5 star hotel rooms.

Some of the patients with the NHS are being allowed to stay in Ģ265 a night hotel rooms which include a number of perks such as designer furniture, marble bathrooms and top-range flat-screen TVs.

More worrying to common Britons, the bills for such 5 star treatment are being paid by the taxpayers who are already reeling under severe cuts by the government including more than Ģ20billion of cuts in the health care sector with thousands of health workers facing the danger of losing their jobs.

Says a spokesman for TaxPayers' Alliance, "It speaks volumes about the extortionate cost of our health service."
