35-Year- Old Woman Dies Due To Swine Flu In Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India
A 35-year-old woman succumbs to H1N1 virus at a private hospital in Visakhapatnam. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, nearly 70 people have died due to Swine Flu in this year.
According to medical authorities, the patient was a resident of Ganesh Nagar, in Seethammadhara. She was admitted to a private hospital about a week ago with symptoms of Swine Flu. Her nasal and throat swabs were sent for examination and she was tested positive for Swine Flu.

"The woman, a mother of two, was a resident of Ganesh Nagar in Arilova area of the city outskirts and was hospitalized for last one week", said J Saroji, District Medical and Health Officer.

Though she was undergoing treatment, she developed complications and doctors were not able to save her. The district authorities have already administered Swine Flu vaccination to the patient’s family members and residents in the neighborhood.
