3 in Every 4 Couples Admit Losing the
Around three-quarters of couples have lost the spark in their relationship, and 1 in 10 noticed the spark starting to fade away in the first year together, a new poll revealed.
The survey, which was commissioned by SodaStream UK, found that around 16 percent of the couples believed that their spark fizzed out within months of moving in, the Daily Express reported.

According to the study, the bubble bursts after around three-and-a-half years in an average relationship and that couples who are looking for cures prefer little surprises, romantic weekends away and regular "date nights" to rekindle their romance.

It was found that more than half admitted they would be happier in their relationship if they or their partner made more effort to be romantic and a third thought that going on holiday would help get some excitement back, while 26 per cent would just like to send or receive nice text messages.

The study also found that 57 per cent of those who polled admitted taking each other for granted and 64 per cent said it is hard to keep a relationship fresh once daily life gets in the way.
