 15-Year-Old Girl Becomes Europe
It is reported that a 15-year-old girl has become the youngest in Europe to be fitted with bionic fingers in a 38,000-pound operation.
Chloe Holmes lost all the fingers of her left hand when she was three, suffering years of harassment.

The right hand of the young girl was left with just a thumb and half a finger after chicken pox left her with septicaemia.

Holmes' parents finally decided to pay for the bionic digits controlled by nerve signals in her hands, after years of struggling to perform trivial everyday tasks.

"The best thing is that now I can hold things," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"I'm looking forward to going back to school so everyone can see it," Holmes said.

Holmes' mother Sue is excited at the prospect of seeing her daughter normal and able to work on her own.

"We are all chuffed. It has changed her life," Sue added.
