Storyline : The film revolves around a young, beautiful 16 year old girl Mayil, who is filled with ambition of becoming a teacher. A young attractive vet arrives in the village and both Mayil and the vet fall for each other. Meanwhile, Mayil's distant cousin, Chapani who is quite dim, possibly a little mentally ill and lame, is isolated by the society. He is secretly in love with Mayil. Another rowdy(Rajanikant) is also impressed by Mayil. The situation in which Mayil is in shows her vulnerability and that of the young women in a society.
