Storyline : The Ward, a horror flick directed by John Carpenter, is a psychedelic maze of surprising and mind- bending twists. The plot revolves around Kristen (Amber Heard), a young schizophrenic woman, undergoing treatment at a psychiatric hospital, who believes that she is being tormented by a mysterious ghost. Kristen has no memories of her life but strongly believes that she should not be at the mental institution. She notices that the girls in the ward are disappearing and that her tormentor is causing these disappearances. As evil lurks around the corner, Kristen, realizes that the ghost might be more evil than anything that she could ever perceive. The movie constantly shuttles between reality and hallucinations until it is revealed in the end that Kristen is imaginary and the ghost, real. A shocking plot and a must watch.
