Storyline : Actor Tom Cruise, in the movie The Valkyrie plays the role of a German war hero, Colonel Claus Von Stauffenberg who was killed on Hitler’s orders for trying to overthrow him in a failed attempt. Colonel Stauffenberg is fatally wounded in Tunisia and he ends up loosing a hand and an eye. After his recovery, Stauffenberg is determined to overthrow Hitler’s regime, keeping in mind the greater good of his nation and also the world as a whole. Though Stauffenberg knows that he is risking his own life in the process, he still designs Operation Valkyrie, hoping he could overthrow Hitler.
