Storyline : In 1860, Chemist Louis Pasteur discovered the germ theory. He suggested to doctors to wash their hands and sterilize the instruments to avoid the spread of infection and prevent infant mortality. He was derided by the medical academy and ordered to be silent by the emperor himself. Ten years later, he vaccinated the sheep that were killed by anthrax but he was not credited for all his achievement. It was the Russians who realized his genius and France finally honored him.
