Storyline : This is a documentary directed by Michael Moore which features health care in the United States. Moore focuses on the health insurance and the pharmaceutical industry. The documentary is predominantly aimed at comparing the profit- oriented health care system in the US with the pro- people health care systems of other developed nations. For instance, in the UK, pharmaceuticals are free for persons under 16 and above 60 years of age and there are no- out -of -pocket expenses to be incurred. In France, the government provides health care, education, day care and other services for free or at highly subsidized rates. In Cuba, medicines are inexpensive and treatment is free in most cases. These illustrations go on to mock the medical system in the US, only to establish that the American Health Care system is only a facade.
