Storyline : Diane Keaton plays the role of Bessie, who takes care of her bed-ridden father for seventeen years and one day with the help of a local doctor she discovers she has Leukemia and to overcome the disease she needs bone marrow transplant very fast. So she calls her sister Lee for help, who hasn’t been in touch with the family for many years and who is busy chasing after her own dreams. When Lee comes to see Bessie, she comes with her son Hank and it is Hank who is going to donate his bone marrow for the transplantation. Finally, being together, they slowly begin to rediscover the joy of living together as a family, by starting to love each other and in the end Lee becomes prepared to take up her responsibilities.
