Storyline : An aspiring writer Carter Webb has just been dumped by his love Sophia. Heartbroken Carter escapes Los Angeles to suburban Michigan to care for his grandma and pursue writing. He comes into contact with a family living across the street. The family consists of Sarah and her two daughters Paige and Lucy. Sarah is sick with breast cancer. The bonding with the family teaches him to love things other than his own self.
