Storyline : Paul Kersey is a New York Architect, whose world is torn apart by the murder of his wife and the rape of his daughter. His boss sends Paul to Arizona for a vacation and to meet with a client. There he meets a gun enthusiast who gives him a gun. When Paul returns to New York and a mugger tries to hit him, he uses the gun to shoot and kill him. There after he goes on a shooting spree and kills many would- be muggers after dark. The police starts the investigation but the public is happy that some one is there to take a stand against the muggers.
