Light Scattering Tool for Diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer

New light scattering tool developed by a team of scientists led by Lev T. Perelman, PhD, Director of the Center for Advanced Biomedical Imaging and Photonics at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) promises non-invasive diagnostic method to accurately pick out cancerous pancreatic lesions from benign lesions with an accuracy rate of 95%.
