This year, maurices hopes to raise $125,000 for the American CancerSociety from sales of Sophie the Springer Spaniel. In addition toraising funds, maurices stores nationwide will donate over 3,000 "Sophies" tolocal hospitals for children who are fighting serious illnesses.
