DURHAM, N.C., March 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- KNOW Bio, LLC, a leading innovator in healthcare, today announced that Life Care Medical Device CEO Richard J. Prati has joined the company's board of directors.

Prati has more than 25 years of proven leadership and operational execution with a wide range of emerging and established public and private entities. He has expertise in industries ranging from health care, biotech, medical devices, conglomerates, retail, industrials, information technology and semiconductors.

In addition to his position at Life Care, Prati co-founded medical technology start-up Singular Medical Technologies and serves as Chairman. He also recently served as Vice Chairman of PVG Asset Management, a fund family with nearly $1 billion in assets and is a board member and early-stage investor of the privately-held Centennial Brands company. In 2002, he co-founded American Technology Research, an independent research broker/dealer. He earned his MBA from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester and his B.S in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
