CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Joerns RecoverCare has launched ClimateCare™; a unique mattress coverlet system that provides microclimate management. When used in conjunction with a pressure redistribution mattress, ClimateCare is designed to address the root causes of tissue breakdown through the management of temperature and moisture (microclimate) at the interface between the patient's skin and the therapy support surface. ClimateCare is an affordable option for adding microclimate management to therapy support surfaces lacking an active microclimate control.

ClimateCare is compatible with many therapeutic support surfaces, including the Joerns RecoverCare Dolphin® Fluid Immersion Simulation® (FIS) System and the P.R.O. Matt® Plus.
