About crystalens(R)

The crystalens was approved by the FDA in November 2003. During clinicaltrials, all of the patients who received the crystalens greatly reduced theirneed for corrective lenses or eyeglasses. The patented crystalens technologyis designed to allow the lens to move in the eye in a manner similar to thenatural human lens. By using the eye's muscle to move the lens backwards andforwards naturally, patients can focus through a broad range of visionincluding near, intermediate and far distances. All other approvedintraocular lenses are designed to remain fixed in the eye. For moreinformation about the crystalens go to http://www.crystalens.com.
