Kuwait 15the June 2010: The en.v Initiative (en.v) an organization dedicated to social responsibility in the Arab world is announcing a strategic partnership with the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK). This strategic partnership will seek to support the research and development of individuals and organizations in Kuwait in the areas of education environment culture and general welfare.
As an educational establishment ACK is a strong advocate of innovation and creativity among the youth sector - with a particular focus on participating in programs that enhance and encourage their potential. ACK has entered into this agreement with en.v to further create engaging outlets for their student body to actively partake in social development activities – with a particular focus on key environmental concerns in Kuwait such as waste management marine conservation and terrestrial preservation. Through this partnership both entities will strive to promote environmental responsibility among the youth population that will communicate into the adaptation of responsible lifestyles.
Professor Vishi Karri the President of ACK speaks fondly of this partnership. “It is important to get the programs and the passion behind our initiatives to the wider community. I see there is a significant synergy between the vision of en.v and ACK in bringing this to fruition. We hope the partnership will address much needed social ecological and broader environmental awareness to both students and staff on campus. Furthermore for 2010 en.v has taken a strategic decision to host REUSE (its annual exposition to promote eco-friendly living) on ACK’s campus. In its fourth year REUSE 4.0 will serve as an opportunity for non-profit organizations companies professionals and aspiring creative talents to showcase their accomplishments in the fields of social responsibility and sustainability via a dynamic range of mediums and interactive activities with the student body and general public.
