Wyeth Announces Election of Timothy P. Cost as Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs

MADISON, N.J., Feb. 5 Wyeth (NYSE: WYE) todayannounced that its Board of Directors has elected Timothy P. Cost, 48, to theposition of Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs effective immediately.Mr. Cost replaces Marily H. Rhudy, 59, who has announced her plans to retire.

Prior to joining Wyeth, Mr. Cost was Executive Vice President, CorporateAffairs at ARAMARK since 2003. During his 27-year career, he has served insenior executive roles for several leading companies. He formerly was SeniorVice President of Corporate Affairs for Pharmacia and, prior to that, VicePresident of Investor Relations and Corporate Intelligence for Bristol-MyersSquibb Company. He also served as Senior Vice President, Communications andStrategy for Centocor, Inc. Mr. Cost began his career with Kodak, holding anumber of management positions with the company, including Director ofStrategic Planning, Worldwide Operations and Vice President, InvestorRelations.

Mr. Cost earned his undergraduate degree from Jacksonville University inFlorida and holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Economics from the William E. SimonGraduate School of Business at the University of Rochester.

Ms. Rhudy joined Wyeth in 1993 as Assistant Vice President, ProfessionalRelations for Wyeth's pharmaceuticals division and held positions ofincreasing responsibility while building Wyeth's public affairs function. Shewas promoted to Vice President, Corporate Public Affairs, Wyeth in 1997 andSenior Vice President, Corporate Public Affairs, Wyeth in 2004. Beforejoining Wyeth, she was appointed by the President to the White House HealthCare Professionals Task Force on Health Care Reform in 1993.
