NEW YORK, Oct. 22 "Patient Safety ThroughTechnology and Improved Communication" is the theme of the 26th Annual FallSymposium for women's health care providers sponsored by the MontefioreMedical Center Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women's Health. Theconference, called Autumn in New York 2007, will be held November 9-11 at TheNew York Helmsley Hotel in New York City. The goal of the conference is topresent the most current scientific information about improving patient safetythrough communication and technology in order to reduce medical error andincrease patient satisfaction.

In addition to the Montefiore participants, a wide range of speakers willpresent talks from the most prestigious medical institutions in the nation,including Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, MemorialSloan-Kettering, Johns Hopkins University and many others.
