"The new health care legislation highlighted just how critical it is for manufacturers in our industry to have their voices heard and to get involved in the process," said Joe Kiani, Chairman and CEO of Masimo Corporation. "The MDMA annual meeting will provide vital information on the challenges we face, and how the landscape is shifting for entrepreneurs. With leading decision makers and elected officials in attendance, this will be a unique opportunity to network with colleagues and learn about tomorrow's changes before they take place, and how our industry can continue to grow."

Medical device manufacturers throughout the country are also analyzing the new tax that will be levied on the industry, and how to lessen its impact before it is imposed in 2013. The 2010 conference will address this new tax, FDA and patent reform, reimbursement and several other issues that directly affect the medical device industry.

More information on the agenda, venue, accommodations and pricing can be found online at www.medicaldevices.org, or by calling Erin Jones, MDMA's Director of Membership and Programs, at (202) 354-7172.
