Assuch, our goal is to improve their lives and ease whatever suffering by givingthe latest medical technology available."

There are more than 2.2 million Americans living outside institutionsusing manual wheelchairs today, and in clinical studies, as many as 80 percentof users report moderate to severe chronic shoulder pain. This oftendebilitating pain stems from the dependence on the upper extremities strainedby repeated use. Through an independent federally funded (NIH) study,MAGICWHEELS(TM) has demonstrated a reduction in shoulder pain, increasingmobility and independence. MAGICWHEELS(TM) enable users to traverse terrainpreviously off-limits, offering a much-needed and renewed sense ofindependence and increased mobility.
