West Coast Bank Sponsors Reach the Bridge Run to Benefit the American Lung Association of Oregon

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., May 14 On Sunday, June 29,2008, West Coast Bank will sponsor the American Lung Association of Oregon's(ALAO) Reach the Bridge Run, Portland's most unique 8k personal challenge run.

Race participants choose their own start times, but must reach theBurnside Bridge by 9:00 a.m. when the bridge rises. The course begins at theWorld Forestry Center, next to the Oregon Zoo and winds through the pavedroads of Forest Park.

West Coast Bank Relationship Manager and ALAO President Jan Jensen said,"Reach the Bridge is an opportunity to honor lung cancer survivors and payspecial tribute to those lost to the disease. Proceeds from the event benefitthe American Lung Association of Oregon and help fund lung cancer research.Participants who fundraise for this event are eligible for great prizes andwill help fund the research that makes an impact on this devastating disease."
