NEW YORK, Dec. 10 Weber Shandwick today announced it is the nation's first healthcare communications agency in the U.S. to be fully trained and certified in regulatory compliance for public relations. The agency-wide initiative is part of Weber Shandwick's commitment to client partnership and regulatory excellence. The training and certification was conducted by the Center for Communication Compliance (CCC), the only all-in-one source for expert-reviewed training, certification, and consultation dedicated to regulatory compliance literacy for healthcare communications professionals.

Weber Shandwick's U.S. healthcare practice certification with CCC ensures clients that its healthcare team nationwide has practical fluency in the most current regulatory guidelines governing the healthcare industry. As part of the certification, the Weber Shandwick healthcare team will also be updated within 48 hours on changes or additions to the regulatory landscape.
