In September, medical students begin searching for residency trainingprograms. In today's economy, especially with college loans enteringrepayment, medical students have fewer dollars available to visit multipleresidency programs. Kaiser Permanente, a leader in graduate medical educationand technology, is responding to this need by hosting both an in-person andwebcast Residency Program Open House. On September 6, 2008, medical studentsnationwide have the opportunity to meet program directors and learn fromcurrent residents what it is like to train in Kaiser Permanente's world classhealth care delivery system. Students are also encouraged to submit questionsin advance for the "Ask a Resident" session. For in-person or virtualattendance, register at http://residency.kp.org/ncal/.
