WebReach, Inc. Unveils Mirth 1.6 - NCPDP Support Extends Open Source Interface Engine

IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 16 WebReach, Inc., a leadinghealthcare IT consultancy and creator of open source Health IT solutions,today announced the open source release of Mirth 1.6 which includes supportfor NCPDP transactions. The standards-based Mirth software is designed todramatically reduce the time and cost required to achieve health informationsystem interoperability and data exchange, and to speed secure informationsharing across communities of healthcare professionals. Mirth 1.6 alsoincludes new enterprise features such as support for high-volume transactionprocessing and a plug-in architecture to simplify the inclusion anddistribution of Mirth extensions.
