The awards were presented during the 13th annual Healthcare Internet Conference, held this month in Las Vegas, Nev. Achieve Solutions, a ValueOptions® Web site, received two e-HealthCare Leadership Awards:

These awards recognize the very best Web sites among health care organizations, online health companies, pharmaceutical/medical equipment firms, suppliers, and business improvement initiatives.

More than 1,100 entries were received from a wide range of health care organizations. These awards highlight the Internet's role in achieving an organization's business objectives and recognize the work that has gone into creating outstanding health-related Web sites.
In determining a winner in the Best Site Design category, judges considered whether the design is unusual, attractive and engaging. Judges also considered whether the design facilitates access to key site information and provides strong branding and excellent usability.
In determining a winner in the Best Interactive Site, judges focused on the site's interactive features and technologies for providing health information and health evaluations. Judges also considered the site's ability to engage clients via e-newsletters, e-mail alerts and the facilitation of community groups.
AchieveSolutions® helps members to recognize issues in the early stages so that they may obtain assistance as soon as possible. The Web site gives access to clinical content on mental and emotional illnesses, substance abuse disorders and work/life issues.
