SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 13 VNUS(R) MedicalTechnologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: VNUS), a leading provider of medical devices forthe minimally invasive treatment of peripheral vascular disease, announcedtoday that it plans to report its financial results for the third quarterended September 30, 2008, after the close of market on October 29.

VNUS plans to host its regular quarterly teleconference at 2:00 p.m. PT /5:00 p.m. ET on October 29. This call will be webcast live for all investorsand archived on the company's website at http://www.vnus.com.
