Walker, M.D., has beenelected to the Company's board of directors increasing the number of directorsfrom four to five. Dr. Walker brings over 25 years of medical experience as apracticing cardiologist, clinical investigator and thought leader.

Dr. Walker is the Founder, President, and Medical Director of theCardiovascular Institute of the South; Medical Director of the CISCardiovascular Fellowship Training Program; Associate Clinical Professor ofMedicine Tulane University School of Medicine; and Medical Director of theCardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Terrebonne General Medical Center.
Dr. Walker has been Principal Investigator in many cardiovascular medicaldevice clinical trials, and has made numerous presentations before the FDA,medical conferences and symposia. He has published over 100 articles,abstracts and books. He is a graduate of the Louisiana State University Schoolof Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine,American College of Physicians, American Board of Internal Medicine --Subspecialty of Cardiovascular Disease, American College of Cardiology,American College of Angiology, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgeryand Diplomat in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Walker completed his cardiologytraining at Harvard University's Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he was aresearch fellow and clinical instructor in cardiology and medicine.
Dr. Walker is intimately involved in advancing innovative technology toimprove patients' lives. He is a Board of Director member for Cardiva, CVTherapeutics, IDev and Spectranetics.
