The purpose of the LAP is to ensure enrollees' access to languageassistance in obtaining health care services, which include dental careservices. "Specifically, free translations in Spanish and interpretiveservices in any language must be provided to Limited English Proficient (LEP)residents of California," said Laurie Laspina, United Concordia Dental'sregional vice president of Sales.
