TyraTech Adds New Sr. Director Business Development

MELBOURNE, Fla., March 17 TyraTech (AIM: TYR), apioneer of safer, effective and natural active ingredients for the pesticide,animal health and human functional food markets, announced today theappointment of Kim Watson as Senior Director Business Development. Watson willidentify new commercial development partnerships and market opportunities toexpand TyraTech's traction in the international institutional, agricultural,consumer, and animal and public health markets. In the newly created position,Watson will report to Stephen Briggs, Vice President Global Markets.

Watson has more than 20 years of experience in discovering, developing andcommercializing new technologies in the agricultural chemical industry. Priorto joining TyraTech, Watson served as director of product acquisitions andlicensing at FMC Corporation, a worldwide, diversified chemical companyheadquartered in Philadelphia. While at FMC, he was responsible for drivingnew business growth through acquisitions or licensing and secured exclusiveaccess to several platform technologies. He also spent several years workingwith Bayer Australia, where he was a technical development officer andresponsible for the marketing and distribution of proprietary agriculturalchemicals. Watson is an active member in industry associations, including theLicensing Executives Society, and holds 18 technology patents of his own.
