"I am ecstatic that my Senate colleagues passed bipartisan legislation that will ensure that America's seniors can continue to see their doctors by eliminating the physician pay cut, as well as providing continuing protections to ensure access by extending and improving the Qualified Individual low-income assistance programs for Medicare beneficiaries," said Rep. Tubbs Jones. "Additionally, enhancements to preventive care and mental health benefits have further strengthened the program. Today, Congress has shown how we can effectively work together to protect America's seniors."
